There seems to be a misconception that students who attend Azle Christian School are not accepted into colleges. Simply responded to-- NOT TRUE! 90% of our graduates ARE attending college! Azle Christian School students are treated no different than other high school students when it comes to college enrollment. The ACT & SAT tests are the determining factors in college acceptance and enrollment. Where the high school diploma comes from doesn't matter. Even home school students attend college. As of this writing, ACS has students enrolled at Weatherford College, Southwestern Assembly of God University, Tarrant County College, Tarleton State University, and East Texas Baptist University. We have had students apply to and be accepted at Texas Christian University, Oklahoma State, Howard Payne, Ablilene Christian, Evangel College and several other colleges and universities.
SO WHERE ARE THEY NOW? Amy Stewart, a graduate of 2008, is attending Weatherford College and has recently decided to transfer to The College at Southwestern in Fort Worth, Texas to pursue a degree in Missions. Jonathan Tucker, a graduate of 2009, received an academic scholarship and is attending Tarleton State University and is currently in his sophmore year pursuing a degree in Sports Rehabilitation Therapy. Ky Clark, a graduate of 2010 is attending East Texas Baptist University as a freshman. He received a football and academic scholarship for ETBU. Current seniors this year, Mackenzie Miles, Jason Rosamond, Nick Hawkins, and Dalton Rosamond are all planning to attend college. Mackenzie has recently been accepted to four different colleges.
